Guterres, addressing a discussion on “Ending Hunger in Africa” held Saturday on the sidelines of the 30th African Union (AU) summit in Ethiopia, said that Africa needs to eradicate conflict and climate change to end hunger. He said world hunger is on the rise, and Africa has the highest rate of hunger in the world. Guterres stressed that climate change adaptation should be promoted as an integral part of conflict prevention.
