The just-concluded three-day event in Rome, Italy, was initiated by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to call for greater world attention to the growing problem of food insecurity, especially in poor and developing nations, to deliver progress on the reduction of poverty, hunger, and inequality, as well as other goals by 2030.
This event received comments from high-profile figures including Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and Prince Charles of Britain. It brought together farmers, environment activists, and youth among representatives from 100 countries and regions.
