(VOVworld) - The parliamentary majority in the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada or parliament will be made up of four factions, Stepan Kubiv, the presidential representative at the national legislature, said on Tuesday. Earlier on Tuesday, Oleg Lyashko, the leader of Ukraine’s Radical Party, said his political force was quitting the ruling coalition in the Verkhovna Rada or the parliament due to disagreement over the president-proposed draft of the constitutional reform. The motion passed its first reading on Monday with 265 lawmakers voting in favor and 87 against. Crowds of some 3000 radicals gathered outside the Ukrainian parliament and opposed amendments to the constitution which would provide Ukraine’s eastern region with greater autonomy.
