The president noted the need of several changes in tactics that would narrow the zone of conducting the anti-terrorist operation, strengthen the border with Russia, and do everything possible to provide security to civilians.
With an effort to ease the tension in the East region of Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry yesterday announced that Moscow will invite observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to the "Donetsk" and "Gukovo" border checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, this is meant to be a gesture of goodwill.
