Mr. Pavel Klimkin said the core reason for the tension is lack of trust between the two neighboring countries adding that the trust must be built based on practical action. Mr. Klimkin supported effective cooperation with Russia saying that Kiev’s integration in the Europe includes cooperation with Russia. Last week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov affirmed that Russia-Ukraine dispute can be only solved in peaceful and diplomatic manner, which Moscow and other partners have pursued over the past few months.  

Regarding the conflict in eastern Ukraine, the authorities of Lugansk in Ukraine said on Friday that the city is on the verge of humanitarian disaster due to being completely isolated.
