The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office said Saturday that the G7 summit will be held at Carbis Bay in Cornwall County, southwestern England, from June 11 to 13. Australia, India and South Korea have been invited to the meeting.
The Cornish meeting will be the first face-to-face G7 since the pandemic started. Last year's event - scheduled to take place in the US - took place online instead.
In 2021, the UK will also organize a series of online and in person ministerial meetings of the G7 to discuss economy, environment, health, trade, technology, and foreign policy.
This year, the UK takes over the G7's rotating presidency.
The UK, US, Germany, France, Canada, Italy and Japan make up the G7.
