UK police identify four Vietnamese reported missing in Manchester fire

(VOVWORLD) -Greater Manchester Police have officially announced the identity of four Vietnamese citizens who have been reported as missing in a blaze which hit Bismark House Mill in Oldham on May 7.

The individuals were later identified as Chu Van Cuong, 39, Nguyen Van Uoc, 31, Nguyen Van Duong, 29, and Le Thanh Nam, 21. Their families had lost contact since May 7.

According to a statement from the local police, investigation teams have been searching around Bismark House Mill since workers found bodies on July 23. 

Vietnamese Embassy in the UK quoted police as saying on August 4 that the remains of a third victim were recovered. 

The Embassy said they were keeping in close contact with local police and authorities. They had made plans to implement all necessary citizen protection measures and post-mortem processes in the event that the victims are confirmed to be Vietnamese citizens.
