Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Lien was assigned to the position of Military-Civilian Coordination Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Doanh was assigned to the position of Operations Staff Officer. Both have participated in thorough training to meet the requirements of the United Nations as well as the Ministry of National Defense for carrying out UN peacekeeping missions.

Vietnam has sent more than 800 officers and staff from its army and police forces to three missions and the UN headquarters. Vietnamese officers have made great efforts in carrying out assigned tasks, demonstrating professionalism and discipline, and making a good impression with their practical and humane contributions.
