Tung Duong honored at Music Awards Japan

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese star singer Tung Duong has won the International Special Award, marking the first time a Vietnamese singer has been recognized at Japan’s biggest international music event-the Music Awards Japan (MAJ).

The award ceremony for MAJ 2025 is slated to take place at the Rohm Theatre Kyoto on May 21–22, honoring Japanese and international music artists across 60 award categories. The event will be broadcast live on Japan’s national broadcaster NHK.

Singer Tung Duong is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Vietnam's music scene. With over 20 years of music career, he has won numerous domestic and international awards and garnered widespread acclaim from both music critics and professionals.
