In July, President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, a large budget reconciliation bill, into law, significantly raising fees for many US immigration applications.

Under the law, the new fees will be adjusted annually for inflation starting in fiscal year 2026. Among them, the 250 USD visa integrity fee will be applied to all non-immigrant visa applications beginning October 1, 2025.

The new US visa fees will take effect just ahead of major global events the US is set to host, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
