Addressing a workshop on trade and investment facilitation in Hanoi on Wednesday, Deputy Rector of the Hanoi National University’s School of Economics, Dr Nguyen Anh Thu, said trade and investment facilitation helps reduce costs and ensure efficient distribution of resources in globalization.

He said, “In the context of global uncertainty, macro and micro changes from national, sectoral and corporate levels are needed, especially longterm sustainable development strategy for businesses in terms of environmental protection and pandemic recovery. We need to prioritize environmental protection now to facilitate our export to the EU.”
