(VOVworld)- Ministers from the 12 countries involved in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) free trade talks concluded a four-day meeting in Singapore on Tuesday without a full agreement. Addressing a press conference after the meeting, US Trade Representative Michael Froman said the parties reached a consensus on many issues and identified issues for further debate. The participants agreed to hold another meeting in January to discuss intellectual property rights and the reform of state-owned enterprises. The US Trade Representative said the US had discussions with Vietnam and its TPP partners about market access. Deputy  Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh, head of the Vietnamese delegation to the negotiations, said that due to so many difficult issues, the talks ended without a full agreement. He said the involved parties will continue talks next month and do their best to end it at the earliest time.
