(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) is mulling ways to pilot vaccine passports to revive the tourism sector devastated by COVID-19.

The agency is working with businesses and tourism associations to build a management tool.

VNAT chief Nguyen Trung Khanh said: "Our highest priority is the safety and health of the community and tourism staff. We will start receiving tourists in stages while following all pandemic prevention measures. We will try not to fall behind other countries in reopening to international tourism."
