Tourism campaign is launched to bring more sunseekers to Da Nang

This year the city offers tourists more than 10,000 free vouchers and discounts worth more than 200,000 USD with the desire to increase experience for visitors. The city offers 2,000 free tickets to watch the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival for those who register to buy Da Nang tourism services/products on online platforms.

Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, said the city aims to welcome about 8.4 million domestic and international visitors this year.

"We are renewing tourism products and promotion and advertising programs to increase the experience for tourists. We are also promoting links between localities, especially Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces to build product packages and exploit advantages, such as railway routes or sea routes between 3 localities. This is what we are focusing this year and in 2025,' said Cuong.

In 2024, Da Nang will host a series of events and festivals such as the Brazil - Vietnam Football Festival 2024, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, Enjoy Da Nang 2024, Vinfast Iron Man 70.3 Vietnam, Danang International Marathon 2024, the 13th Southeast Asian Student Sports Games, and the Da Nang Asian Film Festival.

Many new tourism products will be introduced throughout the year in various phases to meet the demand of tourists, including water music performance, water puppetry show, water motorbike performance, Danang River Show, Bach Dang walking street, and pilot nighttime tourism services on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge.
