Deputies will try to have the people’s voice heard at the National Assembly’s hall, Madam Ngan said during Tuesday’s meeting with voters in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho to brief them of the outcomes of the year-end National Assembly session. She informed participating voters about Vietnam’s reform efforts and the fight against corruption, adding that the 2018 revised Anti-corruption Law outlines heavy sanctions against corrupted officials.

With the Party and State’s political determination plus the support and involvement of the people, the battle against corruption has obtained visible and positive results. Many corruption cases have been detected and handled and improperly acquired assets have been reclaimed,” Chairwoman Ngan said.
