Earlier, President Barrack Obama asked the Pentagon to plan for a complete troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, as President Hamid Karzai had insisted on leaving the task of signing the Bilateral Security Agreement for his successor. Meanwhile, US military officials keep warning of instability in Afghanistan if Washington withdraws all its troops from the country. Gen. Martin Dempsey said that there would be a period of greater instability in that country following the April elections.
