(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang has received more than 100 overseas Vietnamese students who returned home to participate at this year’s summer camp.

They are outstanding students representing young Vietnamese living abroad who wish to learn more about their motherland’s history and culture. During the reception in Hanoi on Tuesday, President Sang reiterated Party and State policies to facilitate the return of overseas Vietnamese.

He expected the summer camp to promote their patriotism and national pride and for them to become cultural ambassadors showing Vietnam to the world. He said Vietnam always welcomed young overseas Vietnamese home for national construction.
