Hosted by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, the Vietnam English Language Teaching Forum was a chance to exchange ideas, discuss methods, and look for solutions for teaching and learning English in Vietnam.

At the event Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do said the education sector is being challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic, but it has also opened up new opportunities for teachers, lecturers, students, and even education administrators.

Mr. Do said he hoped the forum would generate practical ideas for policies, guidelines and directions for teaching and learning English in Vietnam in the new context.

US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper said the US Government has used various sources to support the teaching of English language in Vietnam and around the world.
