Most notably was the reappearance of “Hội An Legendary Night in the early 20th century” with the participation of artists from 9 ASEAN countries, South Korea and Japan. It was followed by an exhibition entitled “Vietnam-ASEAN cultural heritage space” showcasing the cultural and natural heritage examples of cities and provinces nationwide and ASEAN nations. The My Son Relic site has come more mysterious with the reopening of the Group G of the temple towers in the My Son sanctuary for visitors after over ten years of restoration. Mr Dinh Hai, Director of the Quang Nam provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “The fifth Quang Nam Heritage Festival has introduced many new tourism products. This festival has reached many important goals. Introducing cultural and national heritages has raised people’s awareness of their responsibilities in preserving and promoting national heritages. Many lessons were drawn from the exchange of experiences in preserving, restoring and promoting the value of heritages which will help Quang Nam province to continuing its works in cultural preservation and sustainable tourism development.”

With the success of the fifth heritage festival, Quang Nam province hopes to be one of the preferred tourist destinations by both domestic and foreign tourists.
