(VOVworld) – 19 outstanding films have been honored at the 5th National Environmental Film festival. 119 entries including documentaries, cartoons, and news reports took part in the festival to respond to World Environment Day, June 5th.

The films, on various environmental issues and the importance of natural resources to our lives, all aim to educate the public about environmental and natural resource protection. Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Bui Cach Tuyen said: "The honored films have great artistic value. We encourage film makers to make more films about the environment".
