About 10,000 people will participate in the festival, with a range of activities to be held at Hoan Kiem pedestrian zone, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hanoi Museum, the Temple of Literature, the Son Tay Ancient Citadel pedestrian street, and the Red River rock bank area.
Themed “Heritage-Connection-Contemporary Times,” the festival will feature a wide range of vibrant cultural and artistic events, such as a heritage parade, a heritage exhibition and expanded Hanoi Puppetry Festival, the Red River International Music Festival, a “Heritage Connection” masquerade ball, the Hanoi Tourism Áo Dài Festival, and art performances in Hanoi’s iconic cultural spaces. One of the highlights will be a 3D mapping performance titled “The Capital of Thăng Long” projected at the Doan Mon Square of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
