(VOVworld) - Thailand's acting Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and the state Election Commission have agreed to hold new general polls on July 20.

The commission general secretary Puchong Nutrawong confirmed the date with the press on Wednesday. The country’s opposition party has not voiced their opinions on whether to participate in the election or not after they boycotted the February election.
