(VOVworld)-ASEAN Secretary General, Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Le Luong Minh has participated at a workshop on capacity building for people with disabilities in Pattaya, Thailand on Thursday. The meeting gathered representatives from 11 regional countries with Vietnam among 4 countries selected as pilot site for the capacity building project. The association of people with disabilities in Ba Vi district of Hanoi was selected to pilot the model.

Director of the centre for community development, Nguyen Thi Lan Anh was speaking at the event: “I hope the project will help more Vietnamese people with disability. It will help the ASEAN community understand more about Vietnamese disabled people and join hands in helping them develop further.”
