(VOVworld) - Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha has begun an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

This is his first visit to Vietnam since he took office. In the 38 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, Vietnam and Thailand have cooperated in many areas, notably economics. Vietnam and Thailand held an inter-government meeting 10 years ago.
