On Wednesday, in Thanh Hoa province, Ngo Duy Hieu, Deputy President of the Vietnam Confederation of Labor, presented 130 gift sets worth a total of 6,200 USD to disadvantaged trade union members and workers in Thieu Hoa commune. Trinh Thi Hoa, Deputy President of the provincial Labor Federation, delivered an additional 58 gift sets worth 2,900 USD to workers facing hardships.

The Can Tho Municipal People’s Committee officials visited and celebrated citizens in Phong Dien commune who turned 100 years of age this year. The delegation presented to each honoree a President’s Longevity Certificate, a gift set, cash worth 50 USD, and five meters of silk fabric. A “Spring of Love 2026” program, held in Can Tho’s Vi Tan ward, gave each of 600 disadvantaged children cash worth 38 USD and a Tet food package.

Dak Lak province’s Social Protection and Children's Center hosted a gala night called “Spring of Love–Tet Reunion”, featuring lion dances to welcome the spring, musical performances, and a presentation of Tet gifts and lucky money to orphans, elderly people with no family support, people with disabilities, and underprivileged children from nearby communities.
Nguyen Xuan Quy, Director of the Dak Lak Social Protection and Children's Center, said, "Whenever Tet comes, we organize a Spring Gala for everyone to enjoy, and to send a message of faith and happiness to those who live here. We want to create a cozy atmosphere, so everyone feels a real family warmth during the Tet holiday."

In Quang Tri, during the days leading up to the Year of the Horse, charity activities have been organized to help vulnerable groups, the highlight being a fundraising livestream organized by the Youth Union of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment. The program raised 5,800 USD, all of which was used to provide 20 gift sets to needy adults and 130 gift sets to disadvantaged children and children in remote areas.
