Minister Nguyen Van Hung was speaking during a recent visit to Tay Son Thuong Dao and the archaeological site of the Roc Tung Paleolithic Age in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.

Named a national historical and cultural relic in 1991, the Tay Son Thuong Dao complex was where, 250 years ago, three brothers - Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Hue, and Nguyen Lu - launched an uprising to seize power. Nguyen Hue later became King Quang Trung who defeated 200,000 Chinese Qing invaders in 1789.

Last November, the archaeological site of the Paleolithic Age in Roc Tung and Go Da was recognized as a national relic.
