The system, which uses solar energy and is designed to cope with harsh weather conditions, can filter 600 m3 of seawater into household water daily. The system has now been installed in Truong Sa Dong island, Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province. Engineer Tran Vu Thanh is head of the project:
"We are confident that this system can operate well in harsh weather conditions on the islands. Such a system is vital to people and soldiers’ daily necessities. The project’s success is due to the joint efforts of businesses, scientists, and other social organizations who want to contribute to the development of our islands and national waters."
