(VOVworld) – Syria’s Minister of Information Omran al-Zohbi says the US and UK’s accusations that Damascus may have used chemical weapons are “inconsistent with reality and a barefaced lie”. He said on Saturday that Syria will never use chemical weapons not only because Syria respects international laws and war regulations, but also because of humanitarian and moral issues. Zohbi said the Syrian government does not trust in UN inspectors who come from the US and the UK because “their aim is to juggle with facts”. He added Damascus allowed Russian inspectors to investigate and verify the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
