Swimmer Vo Thanh Tung breaks records at Asian Para Games 2018

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese swimmer Vo Thanh Tung clinched his third gold medal at the ongoing 2018 Asian Para Games (APG) in Indonesia by winning the men’s 200m freestyle S5 event on Wednesday.

He broke an Asian Para Games record in 2010 in Guangzhou, China. Earlier, he won the men’s 50m backstroke S5, breaking his own record, and 100m freestyle S5 disciplines, beating the Asian record.

As of 4 p.m Thursday, Vietnam stood at 12th place at the Asian Para Games with 6 gold, 4 silver, and 13 bronze medals.
