Suspect behind Barcelona attack shot dead

(VOVWORLD) -Spanish police on Monday shot dead a man identified as Younes Abouyaaqoub, the van driver who killed 15 people and wounded 100 others in the town of Subirats, 60 km west of Barcelona last Thursday.

According to a police source in Catalonia, the man was wearing what appeared to be a suicide belt. His identity has not been confirmed.
