(VOVworld)- A documentary on Agent Orange (AO) was broadcast live on Quang Nam television
on Friday aiming to provide audience a picture of the AO disaster in Vietnam. The event was co-organised by the Quang Nam Provincial Association for Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin and the local Radio and Television Station. During the program, participants interacted with AO victims who have overcome their difficulties to live a normal life and integrate into the community. Through the event, people across the country donated 560 million VND to help AO victims in the province. There are currently 35,000 people affected by AO in Quang Nam province, with thousands of victims having died from AO related complications. Since early this year, local authorities have mobilized more than 7 billion VND to assist local victims of Agent Orange.
