(VOVworld) – A workshop has stressed on the importance of cooperation between institutes, universities and businesses for socio-economic development. The workshop was held in Hanoi on Sunday by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Rang Dong Light Source And Vacuum Flask joint stock company. Rang Dong is considered a leading company in research and development work, which is closely connected with institutes and universities. Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan said businesses need to work with experienced and qualified scientists and reward them properly: “Businesses should approach scientists and order their findings. This will help businesses succeed in their reforms”.

In the near future, companies will be provided with 1 trillion VND to invest in scientific and technological development as stated in the newly-approved Law on Science and Technology.
