In his address, Mr. Lam praised members of the Steering Committee for drafting the report saying it is a critical input for draft documents for the upcoming 14th National Party Congress, including the pivotal Political Report.

General Secretary and President Lam said it’s important to reach consensus in awareness about the country’s new context after 40 years of national renewal, asking for reforms to the format and the content of the report. He urged for frank and objective assessment on bottlenecks of the national development to find solutions and stay steadfast with national renewal.
