(VOV) – Relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have developed well in recent times, through exchanges of high-ranking delegations, ministries, localities, business and people’s organizations. State President Truong Tan Sang was speaking on Thursday while receiving Hur Nam Sik, Mayor of the Republic of Korea’s Busan city, who is leading a delegation of Busan’s business people and intellectuals on a working visit to Vietnam.

President Sang noted the harmony of life and cultural similarities between Vietnamese and Korean expatriates in each other’s territories, and said that it was a vivid manifestation of growing diplomatic ties between the two countries. He proposed that the RoK government and Busan council create conditions for Vietnamese residents in the RoK to integrate better into the local community. He said that the Vietnamese state is always ready to assist Korean businesspeople and residents to work and live in Vietnam as their second home.
