Police and soldiers have searched more than 10 thousand schools for explosives to ensure the safety for students.

The Sri Lankan government said on Sunday that it has expelled 600 foreigners, including 200 Muslim clerics, since the Easter Sunday bombings that targeted 3 churches, 3 luxury hotels, and 2 other locations and left 257 people dead and nearly 500 injured.
