The meeting took place within the framework of the 26th General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC).
Highly valuing Vietnam’s efforts to develop sports, the IOC President expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Government will investment more in sports to make Vietnam secure a higher stature at international sport arenas.
He affirmed the IOC’s attention to Vietnam and promised to provide appropriate assistance.
Minister Hung said the Vietnamese Government always pays attention to sports development.
He added the National Assembly issued the revised Law on Physical Training and Sports in 2018, which is a solid legal corridor for sports development.
