At a working session with localities in the southern key economic zone on Tuesday, the PM stressed the key role of the region, especially Ho Chi Minh City and southeastern localities, in Vietnam’s socio-economic development. He asked HCMC to sustain its role as Vietnam’s principal economic hub in rural management and regional linkage. At the meeting, the localities presented their socio-economic development plans until 2025 and 2030, which, the Prime Minister said, are the important inputs for developing documents of the 13th National Party Congress scheduled for 2021.
