At a meeting in Seoul with Ou Boqian, Secretary General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), Deputy Foreign Minister Choi Young-sam said South Korea will make an effort to reactivate the trilateral consultative group.

Ou asked for the Seoul government's continued support, and said the TCS will continue to contribute to strengthening trilateral cooperation.

South Korea, Japan, and China have not held a trilateral summit in more than three years.
