achieve the goal of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

South Korean Foreign Ministry said Monday in its annual report to President
Park Geun-hye that under the principle of "opening a unification era"
through diplomacy, the Ministry aims to prevent Pyongyang nuclear program from worsening
inter-Korean relations. The Ministry said that improving inter-Korean ties will
help denuclearize the peninsula and the denuclearization efforts will help to
improve inter-Korean relations.
