(VOVworld) – Top nuclear envoys of South Korea, the US, and Japan will meet in Washington this month to discuss North Korea’s nuclear program.

In a statement on Sunday, the South Korean Foreign Ministry said the meeting will be the first involving the new US administration led by President Donald Trump. The Yonhap News Agency reported that Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se will talk by telephone with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Tuesday to discuss the South Korea-US alliance and security in North Asia.
