South Korea, China agree to implement UN sanctions against North Korea

During a phone conversation, Yun stressed the importance of strictly implementing the sanctions in the current situation where North Korea continues to make provocative threats.

They also agreed to find ways to resume talks with North Korea.

Wang also talked with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida on the same day. The two diplomats promised strong cooperation in carrying out any sanctions against North Korea.
