(VOVworld) – An art festival of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam concluded in Quang Tri province on Sunday. 1,000 artists from 17 troupes gave 180 performances for the festival audience. The performances praised friendship and achievement in Vietnam’s national construction. 3 gold medals were awarded for the best performances. Nguyen Huu Thang is Director of the Quang Tri Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism: “This large-scale festival is a cultural venue for neighboring countries as well as for Vietnam’s ethnic groups. This event gives artists an opportunity to gain experience and opens prospects of future tourism cooperation among regional countries.”
