(VOVworld) – On Friday, the National Assembly’s Office and the Vietnam Musicians Association launched a song composition contest for the National Assembly.

The National Assembly’s Office and the Vietnam Musicians Association launched a song composing contest about the National Assembly.

The contest, under the theme of Democracy-Solidarity- Unification, is in anticipation of the upcoming 70^th anniversary of the 1^st general election of the National Assembly on January 6, 1946. Nguyen Hanh Phuc is the Chairman of the National Assembly Office: “It is essential to have songs to honor Vietnamese history in general and the development of the National Assembly in particular over the past 70 years. As well as already popular songs, we need to compose new songs to reflect national development in the new context”.
