Son La’s culture and tourism introduced to Da Nang

(VOVWORLD) - Locals and visitors were treated to an art program called the “Colors of Son La” on Sunday in Da Nang City, they were introduced to the uniqueness of northern mountainous province of Son La.

As part of the "Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2025”, the event featured captivating traditional folk performances, along with a vibrant showcase of ethnic costumes, and unique cultural experiences.

A highlight of the evening was the Unity Dance and the Thai Xoe dance which are recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The event also featured various community cultural experiences, including the Dao ethnic bell dance, the Mong’s panpine dance, bamboo pole dancing, Con cloth ball throwing, and the Thai ethnic cultural space. There was an exhibition showcasing Son La’s tourism products and OCOP (One Commune, One Product) items.

Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Vice Chairwoman of Son La province’s People’s Committee, said “The “Colors of Son La” program aims to promote the image of Son La people, their cultural essence, and tourism to Da Nang.”
