(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Red Cross Society has launched an SMS campaign to mobilize nationwide support to buy communication devices, breeding plants and animals, and equipment to produce fresh water from sea water, for soldiers, fishermen, and others living on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands.
(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Red Cross Society has launched an SMS campaign to mobilize nationwide support to buy communication devices, breeding plants and animals, and equipment to produce fresh water from sea water, for soldiers, fishermen, and others living on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands. The money generated from the campaign, which was launched on Sunday and will continue until this July, will also be used to buy tools to help the coast guard and marine police perform their duties.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Red Cross Society and Vietnam Television donated 65,000 USD to the soldiers and other people living in the Truong Sa archipelago.
