At least 17 people were wounded in a shooting at a Mother's Day parade involving up to 400 people in the US city of New Orleans early Monday. All the victims were participants in the parade, including a 10-year-old girl. No deaths have been reported, however, 3-4 people were seriously injured. A police officer said there are 3 suspects and investigators may identify more. This shooting once again raise concerns about spreading US gun ownership. With 310 million guns, the US is one of the most heavily armed countries in the world.
