Search for air crash victims in Egypt concludes

(VOVworld) – The Egyptian government has concluded search operations at the site where a Russian airliner crashed in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula on October 31. An airplane belonging to the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations carried the bodies of the crash victims from Cairo to St. Peterburg on Tuesday.

The same day, experts started examining data from the airliner’s two black boxes. The investigation could last anywhere from a week to a month. The committee set up to investigate the crash includes representatives from Egypt, Russia, France, Germany, and Ireland, where the airplane was registered.
