(VOVWORLD) -At the end of Sunday, the second official competition day of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 32) in Cambodia, Vietnam won 9 more gold medals, including historical basketball gold.

In the women's 3x3 basketball event, the Vietnamese team excellently defeated the Philippines, winning the gold medal for the first time in its SEA Games history and ending the prolonged domination of the Philippines and Thailand.

Swimmer Pham Thanh Bao continued to break the SEA Games record and his own record, for 1 minute 00 seconds 97 in the men's 100 m breaststroke.

The men's 4x200m freestyle relay team and Jujitsu fighter Dao Hong Son defended their gold medal.

As of 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Vietnam pocketed 15 gold medals and ranked fourth in the medal tally. Host country Cambodia led with 29 golds, followed by Thailand (16 golds) and Indonesia (16 golds).
