(VOVworld) - The Saudi Cabinet Monday condemned Israeli settlement-building in the occupied West Bank, as the Jewish state prepared to vote on legalizing those areas.

Saudi Arabia's cabinet said the approval of the new construction on Palestinian land is “aimed at Judaization of large parts of East Jerusalem”. It added that the settlements contradict the will of the international community “and prevent the opportunity for peace and stability in the region.”
The same day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said a new draft will be submitted to the parliament for consideration to legalize the settlement areas in the West Bank and prevent any attempt to destroy the settlement areas.
