As a key global supplier of food, fuel, fertilizer, and minerals, Saskatchewan plays a crucial role in ensuring long-term food and energy security. Minister Kaeding’s visit aims to promote Saskatchewan’s agricultural resources and foster partnerships with Vietnamese businesses.

Last month, a workshop showcasing Saskatchewan Food and Ingredients was held at Hanoi Tourism College, featuring a variety of nutritious and flavorful dishes made from Saskatchewan’s high-quality agricultural products.

Minister Kaeding said Saskatchewan is dedicated to creating a business-friendly economic environment that supports trade and investment. The province makes up more than 40% of Canada’s arable land and earns 20 billion USD from exports of agricultural and food products annually.

Recognized as a global leader in food production, Saskatchewan is also a major supplier of plant-based proteins, backed by cutting-edge research, development, and processing facilities that transform raw materials into premium market-ready products.
